Aha, finally a little something sporty for those of us to do who do not wish to be classified as total cultural geeks yet still like to know that we are in a safe and stable sporting crafts piece. We too like to partake in water activities and sports, the difference is, we do not have a death wish, or that’s the way I see it anyway. For those of us who wish to enjoy something a little sporty in the water while appreciating and taking in the beautiful scenery along the coast and taking in the surrounding marine life, you know what I’m talking about- the sea creatures, seals, whales, dolphins, penguins and a variety of fish. Kayaking offers you a different perspective, you see its all about questioning surfaces, you’ll see everything from a new angle, a refreshing vantage point if you will and you will gain a new, more informed understanding and appreciation of the ocean. Garden Route proves to be a kayaking gem with 200km of indigenous forests and a pleasantly surprising network of lakes, estuaries and lagoons. The best part is you get to do it all at your own pace. Never liked the rustle and bustle of it all.
