Nice place
I was really pleased with the peaceful surroundings of the park, nice river and very neat accomodation. The staff are very helpful and wilderness is a really nice town to unwind. Would certainly come back again.

An unforgettable occasion
Although flood had affected electricity supply, the staff at reception were extremely helpful and assisted us to obtain one of two sites with electricity for our camper in the South Camp adjacent to the ablution block which was immaculate. We thorougly enjoyed our stay of 2 nights, in spite of intermittent showers and cold weather.

Camping at Ebb & Flow
Whilst the setting was really lovely, we were not told before arrival that campsites were unreserved and you were on a first come first serve basis (we had made one booking for 2 campsites and were not guaranteed of getting two site next to one another - which was really annoying and caused much stress when we were checking in) fortunately we managed to find 2 sites alongside one another on the river frontage. furthermore we were also not advised (along with many other campers) that you need an electrical adapter to plug into their electricity boxes, needless to say more unnecessary stress when setting up camp! on the whole we had a lovely time and the children really enjoyed the river. we stayed in the north camp and it would be a recommendation that they also put in a childrens play park in the north campsite as there is not much for little children to do in the north camp.

A perfect holiday
The first time we have really 'camped out' for a period of time. The camp sites were in very good condition, the ablutions outstanding - I am not a public facility man - and the staff very efficient and friendly. A place you can go back to time and again.

EBB & FLOW CAMP SITE
We enjoyed every moment of this stay.

The camp is immaculate and well maintained.

The personnel are very friendly. This is a bird lovers paradise and there are very nice walking trails. Overall very impressive.

In the shadow of the Outeniqua
What better place to stay than in the company of Cyclops; one legged guinea fowl with his well trained family of forty, including 7 teenagers, who stood in a row in front of the mercedes picking off the kamikaze moths and other goggas. Seriously though, we ran the Marathon and just loved being able to relax by still waters in the shadow of the Outeniqua. Attached are a few pics of our post run relax.

HOliday
The Rondawel was nice, but very small, we missed a toaster. If you would arrange the two beds one above the other, there would be more space in the rondawel for the table, etc.

Just one night
We arrived late and left early. Did not have opportunity to really look around. What I saw were pleasant camping facilities. Grounds & buildings neat. Would have liked to stay longer. Newer ablutions bit small, but older one good. Deepfreeze was a blessing. We were on a birding trip.

Wilderness National Park
We loved Ebb abd Flow. It was our first visit and we have booked again for the end of this year. My only complaint is that there is no shop. It would be really useful for a small shop selling ice, wood, bread milk etc. Would highly recommend this park.

Ebb & Flow
We spend the weekend of the 10th of July Camping at Ebb&Flow. We went up for the Knysna Marathon. I had stayed there a few years back, and missed out on stay when they were flooded out. I was very pleased to see that the reception area had been revamped. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. They took type to tell us about upgrades, and various other items that we could utilise within the camp. The toilet facilities, although old, were exceptionally clean and nead. Weekend was perfect, abeit having to pack up in the rain on the Sunday. It is really an exceptional place, and great value for money, and we will definitely be making use of this park again, and again.

Winter stay at Ebb and Flow
It was a very peaceful and pleasant stay. We watched the Kingfishers find their lunch and were awoken to the sounds of birds. Thank you for a well kept park!

Hideaway with Peace
I came to do the Outeniqua Marathon and because of this, my legs were too sore to really explore and enjoy this wonderful retreat. But what I experianced was so beautiful, peaceful and utterly charming that I will be making this an annual getaway at the same time but do the half marathon. So I can do more especially hiking. Thanks to the wonderful staff!

Wilderness Ebb And Flow North Camp
Lovely quiet, grassed camp sites along a pristine river and adjacent to a wetland full of birds. We did some of the walks and found them to be well maintained, beautiful and and interesting. The ablutions were rustic but always had hot water and good light. We loved our stay and will definately be returning to sample some more of what the Wilderness has to offer - and, yes, we have already recommended it to several like-minded friends! Thw staff need some cohesion about the entrance /exit procedures of the gates and access to the walks as there was some confusion about extra payment to go on the walks and going in and out of the camps. Perhaps this could be avoided by giving each vehicle a dated sticker to facilitate easy recognition of those allowed to be there and passes for the walks to hand to the staff who wait at the entrances.

Access and staff
The entrance control to the resort requires an urgent investigation and overhall. The boom system is most frustrating and even caused some tempersto flair on more than one occasion. The staffs response to the problem was to argue with the guests that there was in fact no problem but even as we were booking in it was clear from the TV monitor that other guests had the same problem.
Other than this matter the park was clean and neat and our stay was pleasant.

South camp = excellent
We stayed over at camp #48. The staff was very friendly & Lionel went out of his way to ensure we get a braai stand. The South Camp ablution facilities is very clean & we enjoyed the family unit type showers.

Once again the staff at Ebb & Flow were exceptionally helpful and professional. But, the campers on the North Shore in tents were still partying and braaing at midnight through to early hours of the morning. Is there no way of putting a time on that, i.e. 'lights out' because despite the beautiful surroundings, incredible birdlife and most potentially peaceful holiday venue, some people have absolutely no appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors, one wonders why they choose these places to holiday. We love Ebb & Flow but won't return during the high season, rather in the low season to avoid the crowds. We saw a small buck near the picnic area at the start of the Kingfisher trail, but don't know if it's one on your list because it was so small and didn't look like a springbok, maybe an Impala. It was early hours of the morning.

Ebb & Flow
Our stay was peaceful in lovely surroundings.

Reception was exceptionally friendly & helpful.

I think that the Rondavel is in need of a higher kitchen cupboard and/or work-top to work on.

Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely visit again.
