4 Day Budget Kruger Lodge Safari (VSO8) Reviews

Kruger
Nice stay, saw plenty of animals, friendly staff. only problem: couldn't stay in hotel we booked (since it was under renovation), then got re-booked to another place which was beautiful but 1.5 hours drive from Kruger Park (in Balule Game Reserve).

great trip
It would have been helpful to get a litte more detailed information about accomodation and krüger tour. We were not sure if we stay all the time in the same lodge, as there were written to different places (Tremisana Lodge and Cheetah Inn) and we didn't knew that we have booked two days exacteley the same tour (same destination, same route). For next time I would book a tour with different accomodation to see more regions of Krüger.
Nevertheless, the tour was great, the guides were really nice, explained a lot to us. We had the real big luck that Meynard could show us all the big five in one day! The accomodation was simple but we felt a real warm welcome, had delicous meals... All in all the tour is really recommendable

Kruger and Cheetah Inn
Cheetah Inn was lovely and safe. The staff was friendly. The bar is open only when they say it is, not as the time schedule says. Bring your own adaptor for electricity if you need it. Food was nicely prepared. Our first guide was rushed through Kruger park abut our second guide, Bongani, was superb! Overall, the experience was fantastic! Accomodation Direct was good to work with as well.

Budget Busting Safari was a real bargain
The safari proved great value for money. We were collected from the suburbs of Johannesburg and driven in a comfortable minibus to Kruger, stopping for lunch at Dullstroom. After a cool drink at Tremisana Game Lodge, we were taken on a sunset drive, immediately spotting a pair of tawny eagles and their nest. Our overnight accommodation at Cheetah Inn was spacious and comfortable and we were driven through Kruger in the best way possible, in a high viewing bus, which gave us a great advantage. We were lucky to spot all the big 5, some so close to the vehicle we could almost touch them. Our guide was a fount of information and worked hard to make the safari very special. I thought we'd bagged a bargain.

Excellent Kruger experience
We arrived at Johannesburg airport and were picked up by Anthony and taken to his Bed and Breakfast. He was so friendly and helpful, and we met some of his friends at the B&B that were also really friendly. The B&B is beautiful. The next morning we were picked up around 9 and driven to Kruger (by Isaac and Raymond). We met Mayneuth halfway there and he was our guide for the Kruger safaris. Both Isaac and Mayneuth were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. We spent more time with Mayneuth--2 days in Kruger and for the bush walk on the last day. He was always smiling and a pleasure to be with. At the lodge, Mark's Treehouse we were greeted by Florence, another exceptional person. She was pleasant and warm. The food was great and we really enjoyed the surroundings. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone else, and I hope I have the chance to return one day. Thanks to everyone.
