Mont Fleur

Nestled in the indigenous Wilderness Nature Reserve high against the Mountainside, with breathtaking views of the ocean and Touw River lagoon, Mont Fleur is a few minutes walk from Wilderness's beaches, hiking trails, restaurants, shops and weekend flea markets.

A short drive over the Mountain, across Wilderness Heights and on into George on the Old Knysna Road, provides spectacular views of magnificent indigenous forest vegetation that is home to meandering wild Buck and Baboons and monkeys that frequently line the road. A few minutes drive down the coast towards Sedgefield and Knysna yields the shallow but extensive inland lakes for which this Southern Cape region is famous.

The lush vegetation that lines the Touw River teems with over 230 species of birdlife and whether you enjoy fishing, bird watching, canoing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, boating, water-skiing or simply idling away a hypnotic sunset at the swimming pool barbecue, you will find Mont Fleur an idyllic setting from which to explore the many attractions of the Garden Route and its hinterland.
