DIRECTIONS: Co-ordinates: S 33°56'55.4" E 23°35'02.9" By road from George/Plettenberg Bay: Travel eastward on the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. From the N2, take one of the two R102 exits to Nature’s Valley: - The first exit is signposted on the N2, 21km east of Plettenberg Bay. If you take this exit, drive through the beautiful valley of Nature’s Valley and, staying on the R102, drive a further 4km up the pass and onto the plateau, to Platbos Reserve. Plateau’s entrance is on the right, and is well signposted. - The second exit is signposted on the N2, 32km east of Plettenberg Bay. If you take this exit (number 552), pass through the ramp tollgate (major credit cards and cash accepted). Turn right onto the R102, towards Nature's Valley. Cross over the N2 and you will find yourself driving through pristine indigenous forest. Plateau Country House is 3.8 km down this road on the left and is well signposted. Taking the first exit, the route is even more scenic, and the toll fee is avoided. Taking the second exit, the trip is slightly quicker. By road from Port Elizabeth: Travel westward on the N2 toward Cape Town. The Tsitsikamma Plaza tollgate is 30 km west of the Stormsriver Bridge. Pass through the mainline tollgate (major credit cards and cash accepted). Directly after the tollgate take exit number 552 and turn left onto the R102, towards Nature's Valley. You will find yourself driving through pristine indigenous forest. Plateau Country House is 3.8 km down this road on the left and is well signposted. Helicopter: Guests of Plateau Country House are eligible for the waiving of landing and parking fees for the use of our paved, unrestricted helistop on Platbos Reserve: S 33°56'53.5", E023°34'58.1", elevation: 214m.
