Brighton Lodge Guest House was one of the first Guest Houses styled along the lines of a Boutique Hotel to open in Port Elizabeth 11 (eleven) years ago. Brighton Lodge Guest House opened with 4 (four) rooms, which developed into 6 (six) and once again expanded to its present status of 11 (eleven) rooms.
Within five kilometres of the Friendly City centre and just minutes away from the airport and all major shopping centres, Brighton Lodge Guest House offers the discerning traveler an elegant mix of a Grecian, Colonial and Victorian era with all the modern facilities you've come to expect.
Brighton Lodge Guest House offers accommodation in 11 self-contained suites, all different in character, each with a coherent decorative theme. Their names give them away. Victorian, Roman (with some Grecian elements), Old Cape, Cottage, Mauritian, La Rochelle (French provincial), Animalia (the veld and its game), Out of Africa, Classic Country, Nautical and Settlers. Most are graced by genuine and rather lovely antique pieces of one sort or another.
All suites are en-suite; four of the suites have full bathrooms, and the remaining units have showers together with all other facilities.
All suites are designed with the elements of a home. Each suite has: a lounge area, bedroom area, desk area, kitchenette, bathroom and television.
The 11 (eleven) luxury accommodation suites are self-contained with separate entrances and private patios; all leading to the garden. Breakfast is served in the privacy of ones own suite. Suites have walk-in access to a small secluded, high-walled, sunlit and florally marvelous patio - running water provides a soothing refrain.
Brighton Lodge Guest House is situated within walking distance from Port Elizabeth's beautiful sandy beaches.
Luxury and convenience with an overlay of old-style elegance just about sums up Brighton Lodge Guest House.
