At Alcyone, we offer affordable, spacious and self-catering accommodation in quiet and relaxed surroundings, suitable to the business person as well as the tourist. We are conveniently situated 500 meters from the beach and University, as well as 5 minutes drive from shops, restaurants, cinemas, entertainment centres, the casino, golf course, and many other sports and tourist attractions.
At Alcyone, we will endeavour to make your stay the most pleasurable and "Halcyon" Stay.
Alcyone offers the following self-catering accommodation:
Private 1 Bedroom Upstairs Studio with Sea Views: Has 2 single beds or king, separate private bathroom (shower). A spacious lounge & dining with open-plan kitchenette and 2 large balconies with sea views.
Sleeps 2 adults.
Private En-suite Units, each with 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom (shower and/or bath), self-catering with kitchenette.
A private family unit which is essentially 2 private en-suite units with an inter leading door, main bedroom with king bed. Fully equipped, open-plan kitchenette, en-suite bathroom, dining corner for 4, TV, and the adjacent bedroom with 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom, sleeps 3 to 4 adults, or family of 4.
All our accommodation is self-catering, with a common Braais/barbecue area. Has a colour TV (with satellite CNN or TV5Monde), with complimentary ADSL 512k Internet access in each unit/studio, linen & towels, weekly service, laundry service, parking behind wall with automated gate .
Kitchen/ettes have microwave, 2 plate cooker, kettle, toaster, full fridge, cutlery, cookware & dishes.
No pets, no smoking inside and no pool.
In the Greek Mythology, "Alcyone" also said "Halcyone", is the Goddess of the Sea, the Moon, Calm and Tranquility.
