Situated in the picturesque coastal village, Beachview, Big Blue is the ideal spot for a relaxed stay. A 20 minute drive brings you to Port Elizabeth with shopping centres, casino and various golf courses. Big Blue is within easy driving distance of the Addo Elephant park (1 hour) and Jeffreysbay (40 minutes).
With 180˚ sea views we boast dolphin and whale whatching right from our front verandah. A quick 2 min walk brings you to the beach where you can snorkel and fish in the rock pools. Visit the local Seaview Lion Park where you can hold a lion cub. End a busy day with a sundowner in our bar area while whatching the sun set over the ocean. Enjoy a deliciously prepared South African meal prepared by the owner, Carl.
All four our double rooms are beautifully decorated and have sea views, en-suite bathrooms and televisions. There is a family room for for those with small children. The rooms are serviced daily and is equipped with coffee / tea facilities, bath/shower amenities and clean towels. Three of the rooms have balconies where you can sit and whatch over the ocean.
Big Blue offers:
Big Blue caters for small weddings and function. The venue has beautifull sea views and the thatch room creates a lovely atmosphere. Its seats up to 50 guests with a small dance space.
