Situated only 10 minutes from Port Alfred(between Port Elizabeth and East London) and 40km from Grahamstown, depending on which way you are driving, is where you will find the worlds largest Pineapple. The Summerhill Inn is located on the Sunshine coast and is surrounded by fields of pineapples.

The rooms offer comfortable accommodation with the hotel accommodating 8 standard rooms, 3 suites and 5 family rooms. The suites consist of 1 king size bed and 2 twin beds which are great for a group of people traveling together and the family rooms consist of 2 twin beds and 1 double bed. The rooms are spacious and each have satellite TV, radio, telephone, writing desk and adapter, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a balcony/veranda. The hotel offers non-smoking rooms and rooms for disabled guests as well.

The Packshed Restaurant offers an a la carte menu with delicious meals and is open from 07h00 for breakfast, straight through lunch and dinner only closing at midnight. You can enjoy sundowners or soft drinks at the Porcupine Bar or simply just enjoy each others company while soaking up the lovely atmosphere, the bar is open from 10h00 till midnight. For business meetings the Summerhill Inn offers two conference rooms which can comfortably seat 60 delegates on conference or for your banquet events you could seat 100 guests.

Summerhill Inn offers alot of attractions in the area such as a Pineapple Trolley Train(2km), 43 air schools(10km), for those who love the beach there are gorgeous stretches of beach and warm oceans with an array of water sports including sailing and surfing, golf course, annual festivals are fun to visit, eco-walks and historical trails.
