Welcome to paradise. This exclusive Plettenberg Bay luxury home offers a unique holiday setting along the world famous Garden Route. Situated just 50 metres from the Ocean, The Waves offers visitors a private setting in which to enjoy the expansive views over Plettenberg Bay. The four-bedroom home is complemented with every modern convenience, including a swimming pool, entertainment area, plasma TV, fireplace, onsuite bathrooms, and even a live-in house keeper.

Positioned along Plettenberg Bay, The Waves is the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy Plett's world famous beaches, forests, and lagoons.

The Waves villa is just under 4000 square feet in size and it, too, has a double height feature internally, giving it a light open feel. Both the top and bottom floors have slideable floor to ceiling windows in the front of the house, whilst the access to the pool and outdoor entertainment area features an enormous double height glass window, which looks straight out on to the green hills behind. Many people have commented on the tranquillity of this view, and what a lovely contrast it is to the ever changing beach scene. The villa has been interior designed and furnished to the highest standard, using contemporary but comfortable furniture. Pale beech wood has been used for flooring throughout, though the bathrooms have been tiled with washed limestone mosaic. Units in the bathrooms and kitchen are in grained oak, with splash backs in stainless steel. The central island in the ‘cooking kitchen‘ is entirely stainless steel, with an acid-washed grey granite counter top.

The villa has been designed purposely to separate the entertainment areas from the bedrooms, which are upstairs and are accessible by a central staircase and walkway. Downstairs, are the living room, dining area, kitchen and TV room. Accommodation 8 people There are 4 en-suite double bedrooms, three in the front of the house overlooking the beach, and one to t he rear of the house overlooking the hills. The sliding glass doors lead on to small, decked balconies with stainless steel railings and cabling. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds, whilst the other two have two single beds in each. All are equipped with large, moveable fans should they be required. All the bed linen is white Egyptian cotton, the towels are white and the duvets and pillows are a mixture of down and feathers. There is a plentiful supply of white, plastic hangers in the cupboards. Hairdryers are also available from the housekeeper.

The TV room has a Sony entertainment system featuring satellite television (on request), CD, DVD and video players with surround sound. One large, extremely comfortable orange sofa dominates the room and it is the perfect place for teenagers and small children to escape to. Internet access is also available and there are two telephone handsets for local calls (which will be recharged). Guests, are, however, encouraged to use their mobiles at all times.

The internal dining area can seat 8 people and another 8 can be accommodated outside by the pool. A charcoal barbeque is available for guests, and it is kept in the garage. The kitchen is divided between a cooking area (so that the host and hostess can still enjoy the view and their guests whilst preparing meals) and a scullery/pantry/laundry. There is also a breakfast bar where most children like to eat.The kitchen is newly?"equipped with electrical appliances, an espresso/cappuccino machine and sets of 12 of china, glassware, etc. Plastic glasses are supplied for use around the pool. The rear of the house is a sun trap and is protected from the sea breezes. As such, it is ideal for entertaining. There are 4 sunloungers and three large umbrellas for use around the pool.
