Stanley Island's African styled lodges, created with heavy gum poles, sleeper beams, indigenous reeds, stainless steel and face brick offer elegant luxuriously furnished accommodation.
Each cottage consists of four separate self catering units. The rooms are all double en-suite with a kitchenette, lounge and outdoor patio and have been graded by the AA quality assured recommended accommodation. The self-catering units are fully equipped (gas hob, fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery, etc). All the rooms have tea- and coffee making facilities. The rooms are serviced daily.
The Ludbar Manor : has three B&B rooms and a separate bar, television lounge, coffee bar and a large outdoor entertainment area overlooking the Keurbooms River. The outdoor riverside patio can cater for 120 pax with the adjacent Lud's bar and entertainment area ideal for groups. The island is fully licenced but not open to the public.
Drimie Lodge : A luxury double story thatched chalet with river frontage. The three en-suite rooms all have separate entrances ensuring guests privacy. The rooms all have tea & coffee making facilities. The Drimie Suite has an indoor fireplace, kitchenette and lounge.
Helderbosch Lodge : This double storey thatched chalet has four large units with yellowwood kitchen units and open plan lounge. Twin or king-size beds. The two upstairs rooms are inter-leading sharing a kitchen with a lounge, indoor fireplace and veranda overlooking the river ideal for a family. An outside braai (barbecue) area is available for guests.
Lud's lodge : This luxury lodge boasts four large units with showers, free standing baths and large kitchen units. The rooms are secluded, exclusive and private ideal for honeymoon couples.
Pool Boma: A pool and boma area is available to all guests.
