A complimentary hour in the spectacular Tree Top Forest Jacuzzi Spa is the perfect start or end to every day.

The Setting: 10 minutes from Plettenberg Bay, 1000 miles from reality... Moon Shine encompasses 14 hectares of unspoiled indigenous forest. With great respect to the environment a small and enchanting venue has been created for you to appreciate all the natural splendours. Experience the forest from the comfort of your stunningly hand crafted wooden cabin nestled among the trees, or spend time taking in the gorgeous view from the sun drenched veranda of the quaint garden cottage.

The Forest Cabins (4):

"Firefly" & "Bushpig" are perfect for 2 adults, but 2 small kids can be accommodated on the double sleeper couch. The cabins are open plan (with exception of the bathroom of course) with a queen size bed, fireplace in the living area, and kitchenette with small fridge, stove. Both the living and sleeping areas have French doors opening onto an elevated and private deck.

"Tree Frog" Forest Cabin: Easy access via a wooden walkway leads to a wrap-around deck on two sides; "Tree Frog" is elevated high amongst the trees offering magical views of the forest and its creatures. There is a bedroom with queen size bed downstairs, and an enticing loft sleeping area upstairs with 3 single beds. The kitchen and living area are bigger than the 2 small cabins and there is a lovely open fireplace. French doors open onto the deck.

"Vervet" Forest Cabin: Our biggest cabin is special in many ways. Most notably is the superb "shower tower" - truly original, crafted from brick, glass bottles and finished in mosaic. This is good enough reason to experience Vervet. The big and private deck has access from the main bedroom and the lounge. The second bedroom sleeps 4. The living area is open plan with a fireplace in the lounge.

"Butterfly" Garden Cottage: 5 minutes at Butterfly and you will know from where it gets its name. A restored farm cottage Butterfly is quaint and full of character. Set in its own garden it boasts the finest views on the property and a wide veranda from which to enjoy this. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people in two interleading bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with a double bunk and a single bed. The living area is open plan and the view from the kitchen sink will have everyone clamouring to do the dishes. The recently completed Shower Tower, finished in creative mosaic is an artwork to behold.

The Bottom Line:

All cabins are fully equipped for self catering, bring only what you need to eat and drink and beach towels. No TV's! (Bliss)

All cabins have their own braai facilities and parking. Smoking is restricted to outdoors; cigarette butts on the ground are considered litter. Whilst we have no restaurant on the premises we do offer a small menu of pre-cooked frozen meals and breakfast items. These are delivered to you cabin for you to heat and enjoy.

We do not facilitate credit cards. Cabins are serviced every 6th day of stay, before you arrive and after you leave. Minimum stays apply only during our High Season, and over certain long weekends.
