A feeling of real African hospitality awaits you at this beautiful four star setting on the doorstep of the Prince Alfred's Pass and the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay with its local attractions, beaches and superb restaurants.
We are a 100 acre estate with an abundance of bird and wildlife in the peaceful mountainous area of Uplands, a mere 15 minutes drive from Plettenberg Bay in the heart of the Garden Route.
This is a haven for hikers and nature lovers, there is an abundance of birds to view including our resident Cape Spotted Eagle Owls, Loerie birds, Jackal Buzzards, and many more.
Laze around our salt-water pool, relax in the heated jacuzzi, or the more energetic can take a quad bike safari around the estate.
Sleep peacefully in our authentic thatched African rondavels and awaken to the sound of the weaver birds going about their business.
Then there are relaxing garden rooms or suites close to the pool which have recently been renovated and have their own private entrances.
The Manor House itself has two delightful colonial style B & B rooms.
One suitable for a family of four and our delightful Lavender Room for that real Colonial feel.
For the nature lovers there are our romantic forest lodges, with their large stoeps overlooking the forest. Each have their own braai area and there is a good sized communal pool.
Join us in a traditional SA braai or sit around the fire pit cooking potjies and hot potatoes swapping stories of the bush and Africa.
