Bartolomeu Diaz sighted Cape Vacca in 1488 after landing at Mossel Bay - Bahia dos Vaqueiros. This pristine wilderness area has been proclaimed a private nature reserve and boasts some 300 species of rare plants and wild animals.
There is roughly 8km of private coastline; with magnificent beaches sheltered by sand dunes.
