A quiet retreat after a long and hard year
We loved staying at Yellowwood cottages. We had a chalet that was high up and had a good view of the lske and of Knysna. Very pretty at night. Not too far from the madding crowd either. And of course Brenton on Sea at sunset is a treat. Will difinitely stay there again.

Lovely time!!
Thank you we enjoyed our time at the Yellowwood Cottages very much. It was very clean, we found everything we needed and it had enough space. we never felt crowded. We saw the bushbuck and a smaller buck and the birds were so lovely.
We will come and visit again. Oh we also enjoyed Knysna very much, the view points, the Heads, Featherbed sail Yaght, ect. Thanks to Cheryl.

Lekker
Our accommodation was excellent. All nwcwssities and more provided. Lovely terrain for kids to play. Good braai facilities at back of well appointed house. Management very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended

adorable comfortable cottage
Nice cottage on a lovely setting ideal for families with children like ourselves. A pitty we stayed only one night. The chidren loved the park with its swimmingpool and chidrens playground. The cottage was very comfortable for us family of 2 adults and 4 children.

A Lovely setting for a relaxing stay, close to nature. With only a 12min drive from Knysna!

Yellowwood Cottages - The place on Brenton on the Lake !
Having travelled the Garden Route was always a pleasure. This time around our stay at Yellow Wood cattages was eceptional with breathtaking views, peace and tranquality as these were what we were looking for. Yellow wood cottages was our base and always a pleasure returning to the cottage on a daily basis. We were welcomed by Cheryl & husband with such warmth, a start to a fantastic stay. We've already recommended this retreat to our family, friends and colleagues. Absolute Fantastic !

A Very Satisfied Customer
Remained very enthusiastic about the ambience, cottage and Nature Reserve. Really a very relaxing holiday. The owner of the cottage had excellent taste in the overall decor. Would recommend to anyone.

what a pleasure
A lovely welcome to a well equipped cottage in a beautiful and peaceful setting.We could truly relax here and enjoy bird watching, swimming and walking.
Very good value and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place.

Yellowwood Cottage Review - Chantal Bailie
The cottage is clean and cosy and very pretty. It is fully-equipped, which is great, because we didn't need to bring anything along to make our stay comfortable.
The grounds are beautiful with lots to keep the kids busy, so we could just relax.
The only problem we had was with the TV, which didn't have the connections for a DVD player. The weather was bad and we got movies for the kids which they couldn't watch. This is the only suggestion I can make for improvement.
Overall, the property, the facilities and the cottage are fantastic and I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Comfortable
The accommodation was comfortable and excellent surroundings inside the cottage as well as the outside.I did not expect the cottage to have so many amenities as I have previously stayed in Knysna( other accommodation ) and my family thought that we were going to have the same uncomfortable conditions. It was a pity that we could not stay longer due to a personal situation.

Ons het baie baie lekker gebly. Ons het net te kort gebly, maar sal beslis lanker kom bly. Cheryl het oms baie goed ontvang en die huis wat ons in was is uit die boeke, het niks gekort en baie skoon, daarom het oms die huis gelos soos ons dit gekry het. Ons het julle al klaar geadverteer so ver ons gaan.
PUIK. Ons dal graag die tariewe van die kleiner huisies wil he as ons dalk net 2 of 4 persone is.

We loved it. It was wonderfully, relaxing safe and peaceful. It will have been nice if it was serviced at least once in the middle of one's stay.

Well-equipped, attractive and comfortable accomodation at an excellent price
We stayed at yellowwood cottages for 5 nights. The accomodation was spacious and tatsteful and the setting was superb. The braai-facilities were great and after every day out sight-seeing, it was a joy to come back and relax in the peaceful park. The children loved the big swimmingpool and swings and made lots of friends. Very highly recommended. Cheryl is a fantastic host!

YELLOW WOOD COTTAGES
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the cottage was great, all the necessary equipment was there and it was lovely to sit out on the big verandah and bbq or just relax.

I would definitely recommend this lovely location for a holiday. I wish I could have stayed there longer than just a weekend. The location is very peaceful and the cottages are neat and spacious. A must see for a quite holiday.

Yellowwood Cottages
Very nice, clean accommodation with everything we needed. Lovely cottage in beautiful setting - although I was expecting a wooden cottage. We loved the deer and guinea fowl running around. Cottage rather cold inside, but I would imagine very nice in summer. Definitely would go back.
