Phantom View River Resort is situated in the heart of South Africa's Garden Route coast - so it's an ideal base from which to explore. And it's next door to Lightleys Holiday Houseboats, Knysna - so it's the ideal venue for enjoying your water sports on the Knysna Lagoon.

Phantom View River Resort offers eight 3-bedroom lodges and two 2-bedroom lodges - with all bedrooms en-suite. All our lodges are luxuriously equipped to 3-star standards and have open plan lounges and wide wooden decks boasting uninterrupted views of the Knysna Lagoon and the Outeniqua Mountains.

Upriver, Lagoon-side Log Cabins with wide, shaded wooden decks and large entertainment areas. Fully and luxuriously equipped, double-story, 2- and 3-bedroom units (master bedroom and entertainment areas on entrance level; 2nd and 3rd bedrooms downstairs. All bedrooms en-suite; all have river views. All Cabins have Weber and gas barbecues, mini libraries and televisions with entertainment channels).

Direct access to the Knysna River and Lagoon for birding and all water sports. On-site equipment hire (canoes, riverboats, houseboats and fishing rods). Walk-on mooring for private boats. Guest facilities include swimming pool, shaded parking and laundry service. Delivered-to-your-door breakfast picnic baskets by arrangement. Quiet position 6 km from Knysna Central and a short drive from shops, restaurants beaches, forests, mountains, nature reserves and at least ten top-flight golf courses.
