Indenbosch Cottage

Indenbosch Cottage on Five Acre Farm nestles on the edge of the legendary Knysna forest just outside the village of Rheenendal. This charming one bedroom self catering cottage is a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It will comfortably sleep two adults and two young children (sharing a sofa bed). A veranda offers beautiful views over rolling meadows and postage stamp dams. The small farm dam is often visited by herons and kingfishers. Distant sea mists complete the view.

Awake to the sounds of the forest and treat yourself to a walk through the ancient forest and fynbos - home to elephant and leopard, bushbuck and monkeys. Nearby is Jubilee Creek and Millwood Village, remnants of a short lived Victorian gold rush. The cottage is also situated close to the Outeniqua trail and almost on the Homtini mountain bike trail, while the Cape Epic Mountain Bike Race used to go right past the front door.

The cottage is 25km from the town of Knysna and a similar distance from the excellent swimming and surfing beach at Buffalo Bay. It has braai facilities and a fantastic fireplace for cooler evenings.

Indenbosch Cottage is the kind of place you'll want to keep coming back to whatever the season.

During holidays the cottage is available from Saturday to Saturday.

Prices are based on two adults, extra adults at plus 15% each. Children under 16 stay free.
