De Erf Manor House is a charming villa complete with whitewashed walls and towering gables built in circa 1806. It has a characteristic Cape Dutch H-shape design shared only by the Reinet House in Graaff-Reinet. The house's forge, coach house and blacksmith's shop are still intact.

We provide excellent accommodations. We have 3 deluxe en-suite double bedrooms with private entrance. Each room is complete with DStv, air-conditioning and fans. Percale linen and pure wool duvets are also provided. We also have a sparkling pool.

Tasting local food is a must at De Erf Manor House. Have a fulfilling continental breakfast with a fresh fruit platter with yogurt and fruit served in a stemmed glass. Dairy items such as milk and super cheeses come straight from the farm.

You can choose from a varying array of delicious cold meats, kudu salami, fresh homemade bread or muffins and locally produced jam or marmalade.

After a very satisfying meal, you can visit the nearby Graaff-Reinet, a museum rich with local history.

De Erf Manor House is perfect for a honeymoon. Candles, flowers, fairy lights accompanied by champagne and chocolates makes for a truly romantic time.

Spend your vacation at the old and charming De Erf Manor House. See our two unridable horses and a milk cow that cannot stay in one place. A fruit bowl and sherry is a customary welcome for new arrivals.
