Dungbeetle River Lodge is your overnight respite for a getaway vacation. Located just 3.5 km. from The Addo Elephant Game Park’s new N2 gate, we are a perfect destination for nature lovers.
We have 6 very roomy, first-class Safari-inspired rooms. These bedrooms have been designed to give a distinctly classic colonial African feel. Each of these rooms comes equipped with a television, a safe and an option for a single or double beds.
Dungbeetle River Lodge has the following accommodations:
The "Fish Eagle" is a honeymoon suite includes a four poster beds and open plan bathroom with a superb 180 degree view of the river the balcony.
Big Five Room has a double bed and a sleeper couch for the kids.
Lion Room has two individual beds.
Elephant Room also has two beds.
Rhino room has two single beds.
Buffalo room has 2 single beds that can accommodate a handicapped and an outside deck.
We offer a variety of amenities. Partake of a traditional English or continental breakfast before you go into an enjoyable hike or canoe trip. We have canoes and a small motorized boat and jetties for boat owners. Hike across the amazing Woody Cape/Alexandria Dune fields that are 6500 years old.
Dungbeetle River Lodge is must for nature lovers. The Addo Elephant Game Park’s new N2 gate is at a short distance of 3.5 km. Other world famous game farms such as Scotia Safaries, Shamwari, Lalibela are just 30 kilometers away.
