Brenton on sea has a shop and a local restaurant where the locals gather and within walking distance of the house.All serious shopping is done in a bustling Knysna.

Brenton on sea is one of the most scenic locations near Knysna[18KM] in the garden route with its famous natural forest, elusive elephants, lagoon and heads that is the lagoons portal to the sea.Enjoy a 6km walk to Buffelsbaai on Brentons unspoilt beach. The house is a short 600m walk from the beach.

We have seasonal whale watching from June to November and dolphins all year around.Paraglide on the thermals above Brentons huge dunes or go bungee jumping at the Stormsriver near Plettenbergbay.Maybe you prefer to get out on one of the many forest , beach or Outeniqua mountain walks.

A unforgetable exsperience is to take a day trip to Mosselbaai about 140km away and to do a cage dive with our Great White sharks.For the connoisseur and gourmet the area boasts many fine restaurants and is well known for its oysters.Why not plan your trip to coincide with the OYSTER FESTIVAL 3-12 July.

The house is within 3 minutes from the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve and 4km from the Knysna Lagoon. Brenton on Sea also has a beautiful Rocky Coastline with secluded beaches for you to explore.
