Swellendam is the third oldest town after Cape Town and Stellenbosch and famous for its architecture and interesting history of which the Drosdy museum gives the traveller a memorable view. Hike, walk, horse ride, take a drive through the Tradous pass into the Little Karoo, or do the nearby famous Robertson valley wine route, or take a 45 minutes drive to Witsand to see the whales and their calves.
Take a dip in the inviting salt water swimming pool set away from the house for privacy and maximum sunshine for those who want to relax. Or take a stroll through the gardens and our private forested little valley with its abundance of bird life, butterflies and chameleons and just enjoy being here.
The distance of 225 km from Cape Town and to George makes it an ideal stopover and central point from which to explore some of South Africa's most beautiful scenery.

ACCOMMODATION:The property consists of many small buildings, some of which are the cottages used for accommodation, the main guest house has one private bedroom with veranda, overlooking a secluded garden.
