I liked the neighbourhood, and the lovely view of the sea when I woke up in the morning. It was most refreshing.

The warmth of the hostess (Catherine, I think it was) made our stay there more enjoyable.

Pity we couldn't have breakfast in the morning as we had to leave very early.

Now I know where to stay next time I'm in East London.
