Thunzi Bush Lodge

Country style accommodation, Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Thunzi Bush Lodge is located in the tranquil sanctuary of coastal forest and African bush and offers country style Bed and Breakfast accommodation 30 km from the centre of Port Elizabeth, at the start of the Garden Route. The lodge caters mainly for the traveller who enjoys a tranquil setting, forest & beach walks, bass fishing or bird watching.

The area supports an abundance of small game and birdlife with over 352 species of birds having been identified in the immediate vicinity. Walking trails around the lodge provide access to the dense indigenous coastal forest where many animals including bushbuck, blue duiker and vervet monkeys can be spotted.

Thunzi is situated in the malaria free Eastern Cape, the lodge is just outside Port Elizabeth, accommodation which is in luxury log cabins, is available on either a bed and breakfast or dinner bed and breakfast basis. The city of Port Elizabeth is serviced by an international airport, state of the art harbour / marina facilities and an excellent highway system.

Get out of the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a tranquil afternoon of bass fishing or a leisurely walk through the indigenous forest knowing that within a 30 minute drive, you have access to modern shopping malls, an oceanarium and many other game and wildlife attractions.
